By accessing or using mur services ("Services"), including mur-core and mur.run, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Services.
2. Description of Services
mur provides:
- mur-core: An open-source CLI tool for AI pattern management (MIT License)
- mur.run: Optional cloud services for pattern sync and team collaboration
3. User Accounts
To use cloud features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate account information
- Maintaining the security of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Share malicious patterns or content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services
- Use the Services to harm others
5. Open Source License
mur-core is licensed under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute it according to the license terms. The cloud services (mur.run) are proprietary and subject to these Terms of Service.
6. Payment Terms
For paid plans:
- Subscriptions are billed monthly
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe
- You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your patterns and data. By using our cloud services, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data to provide the Services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the dashboard.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
